July 28, 2026 – Manchester-by-the-Sea Music in the Park
The skies cleared, the grills fired up, and the Joe Wilkins Electric Band took the stage, delivering two smoking sets of Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia favorites to an enthusiastic crowd.
This year, the Manchester Masonic Lodge mixed things up by adding cheeseburgers to its traditional menu of hot dogs and chips. The grill was expertly manned by Todd Crane and Craig Geary, while Mark McCoy (yes, Manchester’s new Police Chief!), Mike Pelonzi, and Michael Loring manned the serving table, keeping the hungry crowd well fed. Working the crowd for the Mason’s – highly coveted assignment – were Jim Brown, Dean Brown, and Alan Kirker.
A special thank you goes to Heather DePriest, Manchester’s Parks & Recreation Program Director. Heather does an outstanding job organizing and executing the Music in the Park series each year. Her dedication and hard work help make these summer evenings one of Manchester-by-the-Sea’s favorite community traditions.
Enjoy a few photos from another great night at Music in the Park!
