The Manchester Masonic Lodge, 10 Church Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea, was chartered by Arthur D. Prince on January 17, 1921. Over the past 97 years many distinguished members of this small town have served the Cape Ann community as Freemasons, cooking and serving meals for the elderly, hosting blood drives, volunteering at local food banks, running scholarship programs and providing food and financial aid to individuals in times of need. This photo, taken in the late 1960’s, features a team of Manchester Freemasons who unselfishly dedicated their time managing the “Holiday Bazaar” fundraising event.
